Pauline" Polly" Weinstein Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Intern

Hi! Welcome. Since you've found your way here, you are probably in need of support for yourself, your children or your whole family. I'm so glad you found me. I can help!

 

The licensing board requires I go by my legal name - Pauline, but you can call me Polly! I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a psychotherapist, I provide  mental health support to parents at all stages of the parenting journey - before, during and after pregnancy and beyond. You can also lean on me if your children are experiencing their own challenges and you find yourself in need of professional support for them.


I was born and raised in Las Vegas and I am invested in building village and community here in Southern Nevada. I am a toddler mom who is passionate about supporting others on the journey of parenthood. I strive to provide a warm and judgement free approach to therapy. I believe you are the expert of your own experience, of your child and your family! I can help you approach your problems with neuroscience, developmental psychology, a bit of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a holistic systems approach where we look at all the factors impacting you.

My approach is based on compassion and unconditional positive regard for other people; meeting you where you're at when you find yourself ready to seek therapy. I believe that people are doing the best they can with what they they have - the history, experiences, tools, skills and relationships that they’ve known so far. I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment to explore and grow through what troubles you.

I earned my Master of Science in Couples and Family Therapy from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and received my Bachelor of Arts degree with concentrations in Developmental Psychology and sculpture from Sarah Lawrence College.

 

I have additional trainings from the Center for Mind Body Medicine, Postpartum Support International, Zero to Three, Fair Play, the Theraplay Institute and more.

Whether you are trying to conceive, are currently pregnant or postpartum, or have experienced loss, the perinatal period is full of ups and downs. As the saying goes, it takes a village. I'm here to be a part of yours.

I am currently accepting new clients for in person and telehealth therapy. I do not take insurance. My rate is $120 per 50 minute session. Sliding scale spots are available. Please inquire if you are in need of financial assistance.

 

I provide a free 15 minute consultation call so you can see if I am a good fit for your family. To reach out, just text message the phone number below! One of the benefits of working with me is that you have direct access to your therapist. I'm the one handling scheduling and answering all texts, emails and calls.
